Reflections on Dragonfly Springs
A few weeks ago we went on a walk to Dragonfly Springs. Dragonfly Springs is a wetland which has been created in Onerahi, to help clean the water that runs off from the drains, and to create a safe place for our native birds. Here is a poplet Room 13 made to reflect on our learning at the wetland.

Learning about our brains.
We have been learning how our brain works. We learned that we have 100 billion neurons in our brains, and these neurons help us think and learn. We know that it's good to challenge our brains when we learn new things, because learning new things helps neurons create strong learning pathways in our brains. When we practise, the connections between neurons becomes stronger, and learning gets easier. Mrs Broughton had her reflexes tested by Mr Candy !
Teamwork !
At the start of this year, we made dragons. We worked together, listened to eachother, and shared our ideas. We all joined in, and tried to help our groups.
Welcome to Our Blog !
